Distribution Partners
Efficient, environmentally-friendly and effective distribution is one of the key issues for the Global Soap Project. When selecting a partner, we consider the following:
- How is delivery to targeted populations ensured?
- What can be done to minimize the possibility of graft and corruption within the distribution chain diverting the product from intended recipients?
- How can shipping be done in the most cost effective and environmentally-friendly fashion?
- How do we avoid “re-inventing the wheel?”
The answer for the Global Soap Project has been to work with other trusted non-profits and NGO’s that have tested and proven distribution channels. These organizations vet recipient entities such as clinics, orphanages, humanitarian organizations, and ensure that product gets into the right hands. Soap shipping is “piggybacked” with other materials that the allied entity is already shipping, thus reducing negative environmental impact. You can read more about our strategic alliances below.

In addition to supporting education at its partner St. Joseph’s of Arimathea in Jasmin, Haiti and providing emergency aid after the quake, the group has provided staffing and supplies for mobile medical clinics for the last few years. The goal is to provide sustainable medical care through the use of Haitians, with supplements of mobile medical clinics twice a year.
